Water industry is commodetized and there is barely chance of competing with low margins . Water industry is distribution game. What can be innovative is ads on bottle just like in US but it's not sustainable as well
Why it's not sustainable?
People would rather pay and buy a labelled bottle not ads one, its not sustainable because if some one copied it then revenue will be diverted and divided causing problems with distribution and network
That's a game of competition & execution not sustainability. People can buy a Bisleri with a small strip of clean & neat advertisement just down below there big strap. I guess it's just their legacy won't allow them to do it.
The sustainability was for business model and if it is sustainable then how would businesses run?
Run on execution, vision, sales, tight grip on distribution.
Water Ka business me kya vision , kya execution, you won't be making people drinking differently.
Bhai kya baat kar raha hai it will be 8 billion dollars market by 2029 & around 3 billion dollars right now. I can't make people drinking differently but can make their choice for drinking, differently. Aise karega to hgya bhai kaam.
Okay but what will you the USP ?
No need of USP, har business thodi na USP se chalta hai..
To compete giants USP is required
Required but not necessary, you can compete just on execution and better margins & service to wholesalers/distributiors.
Giving even Same margin to wholesalers is loss making
Not loss making because I can conduct 2 or more revenue models to back that but they can't do that because legacy allow nahi karti un ko. They have one & only model which is distribution margin.
What more business model like ads?
Direct sales, B2B sales, Ads. Later will find out one more model if there is space. But for Ads, these legacy brands can't do because their legacy won't allow them to do it.
