I recently listened talking by some country professionals. that many us based traffic researchers are doing research on traffic from years and even they can't able to find a great way to optimize it. This problems should be optimised while building or evolving a great city while the construction itself. It's more like you can't do strong basement after building your home. Also even if they tried to do some minimal work on that. The traffic situation will go out of hands that can even impact Indian IT scenes. The person solved this should be given a Nobel price actually.

The Silicon Valley, Place where most of the Big MNCs located. It’s better to follow a timeline process. Like how they are following rotational shifts. Based on mutual understanding of companies at each sectors should chose their closing time so people don’t get stuck in traffic. For example: In Area1: office1,2,3 - people log off at 5:00 pm then… Based on proper analysis, giving a slot of 45mins to these people to reach home where other offices don’t log off till 5:45pm In area2 : office4,5,6 logs off at 6:00 pm and their slot of heading to home. In this way on time slot basis people can avoid much traffic. Thanks for wasting your time till now…

I have done my college project on this. We can do it by sound tracking system. Through the noise we can detect how many cars are passing by and their respective speeds as well. This means we can do a digital twin on the road. This can better notify the local traffic police about the traffic before time on real time predictions. We can also use piezoelectric sensors for the power supply as well. But I currently don’t know how to apply this technology to the next level. Need some startups to work on this.😊

I heard there are some countries in which they will charge money when you travel on a specific road if they implement for whole city then most of the people may use public transport which may reduce traffic Probably it won't happen

Just companies start providing buses to employees and staff can reduce some traffic but ultimately traffic is a problem solved only by changing the mindset of drivers giving them proper manner like japan.

The only sensible solution is to 1.use public transport! 2. IT companies and companies above 100member workforce needs to provide internal transport facility. This will really help employees as well to relax during the travel time. This way a huge number of private vehicles on the road will drastically reduce. As an employee i will even be ready to pay 2-3k depending on the distance. This also helps in saving fuel cost! Reduce pollution and health issues as well.

To reduce traffic Bengaluru should make a policy in which Companies where No customer visits can reschedule their working hours like IT companies can start working from 7am to 3pm

In the peak traffic are in working hours mostly going to the work so we change shift starting time in company one hour after one hour ending shift also not in same time in each and every company we need to reschedule the working hours that time there is no traffic for example, A &B is two company they company finishing work time in same time so ther is lots of crowd in particular area, C is another company its working hours different from others company they company coming to that company ther is no traffic because working hours is different so we like to implement company hours different from each and ever company different working hours and different ending day and starting ,thank you for sharing my ideas with you
