I feel that the problem is particularly due to lack of civics sense in most Indians, and that will change by either providing incentives for parking correctly or by having a huge penalty/fines for those who park incorrectly as well as for those shopkeeper and rehdiwala who encroach roads

Go for IOT product which uses sensors and automation systems for using the parking space it will lead to multi storey spaces but you always have to think about where you will park that is the base you have to solve the systems will be there the solution technically will be always there, So in this space we have to think as how to create parking space always in new areas or new building it'll be there for sure and in most cases but what about the old building and old areas so think about that and maybe you'll find a solution.
