I live in surat and a few years back in 2019 a company called SGPPL with the help of government started a CnD(Construction and Demolition)waste management plant. There are only 8-9 plants like these in India. They take the construction waste and recycle it in the form of different qualities of sand, then they either sell it or use it for further manufacturing of blocks,bricks etc. The rate at which they sell is more affordable for the buyers and also helps the environment. If the waste is not recycled, then it is dumped in rivers,canals,gutters or junkyard. They also charge the builders for the waste they recycle. Even with so many sources of revenue,the company is still not profitable as they are not receiving enough waste to recycle. In order for such startups to succeed, proper education amongst the masses is required. The director of the company says that "Waste is not waste,it is actually a resource" but the people need to know about this.

This is not for us because we don't have proper grants and funding for these type of things. These things not generates good profit and most of the Indian don't care about climate change and purity of water and soil. If you enter in this business then you should have proper funding and resources to cure this heavy problem.

its a great idea, but needs government support as we are doing their work, its capital intensive. honestly mnc should also invest in these startups but they dont.

Yes kishan that's a great segment which is funded by government and csr schemes. These type of work are generally done in narega scheme where government tend to do a temporary solution. In sewage and waste water treatment work , you need to learn the basics which comes under microbiology department. If you are interested you can connect with a microbiology professor or a PhD. There is enormous amount of work done on these topics by masters and PhD students of microbiology and biotechnology which you can get for free . First you must fix what type of work you want to do . For nature nurturing these are done by ngos mostly. No will will pay for these stuff as right now we Indians are not at that maturity level. Hope this helps .
