I agree with you here. It's not about discouraging anyone. My point was is it worth investing directly in equities. My suggestion to him was raise his sip amount from 6k to 10k so that he doesn't have to keep a track of his portfolio on a daily or weekly basis. Since he has no idea about investments and finance.

If he doesn't have any knowledge in stock market then my request is to go with PASSIVE INDEX FUND it's requires no brain , If he is comfortable I'm raises 6K to 10K very good , but don't force him , who know hi pull his whole 6K back 😂 Btw mere bolne ka matalb Tha Ki , agar app usse aisa bologe Ki itna se Kya ho Ga , kaam se kaam itna hona chaiye tho woo , internally ho skata Hai discourage feel Kare .
