They are if you think about it. Open source video sharing platforms is same. DTube is a decentralised platform. You’ll find most of their users currently to be major crypto enthusiasts, vimeo is mostly used in US,UK AND India, around 200M odd users

Now you are at my point, problem is not with the funding it's about the ecosystem the google built is really tuff to compete but somehow indian companies are trying like phonepe for its own playstore.
