This does not work, because app is not able to fetch users when they do additional security checks. So after a time, they have to drop the idea. But yeah there are plenty of catfishes on dating app and it's difficult to develop trust.

Maybe use AI to verify the faces. Coz there are many other ways to make fake faces in the face verification step using AI. In simple words use AI to tackle AI.
