Yeah we have lots of examples where companies follow this strategy of building brand. Few of: Noodles --> Maggie Mosquito repellent coil --> Mortein Moisturising cream --> Boro plus Toothpaste --> Colgate

Good observation! Funny how just some little things vary due to region, btw I’m saying this cos boroline was the one and only choice at home growing up for Most in WB, Kolkata, Its pretty popular there.

Actually Boro plus is one of the very common thing that you can access at allmost each and every home in North Indian states.. So ya there are many regional brands market their products as there brand name like one more example of Moong dal papad --> Lizzat Papad
