Now AI in action with Government Uttar Pradesh Police is adopting an innovative AI tool named Crime GPT, developed by Staqu Technologies, to enhance their capabilities in catching criminals more efficiently. According to media reports, the tool is designed to assist the police by utilizing a digital database to analyze data, recognize voices, and identify faces of criminals. CEO Atul Rai said that Crime GPT aligns with Staqu Technologies's vision of establishing a robust security infrastructure powered by advanced technology. The tool enables law enforcement to conduct tailored searches for specific details on targeted individuals using both written and audio inputs. Notably, Crime GPT is an advancement of their previous work, Trinetra, which also aids in recognizing criminals' faces and has been appreciated by the Director General of Police of Uttar Pradesh, Prashant Kumar, for its contribution to improving security and maintaining law and order.
