Does meta and google lend their advertising algorithm on third party app , for ex if someone made a social app like medial , do they have to make their advertising system from scratch, because ad targetting is very important for brand @niket @medial

Any social media app that grows big will build its own adsuite instead of running third party app. But this will only be true for platforms with > 100M active users. Adtech makes sense at scale. Currently Medial is a baby and has no ads on whatsover. And we don’t plan to put ads on the platform ever.
