Rough diamond supply control . They donโt have limited supply but they just releasing limited. So base price is high. Every thing is in dollars. After that the manufacturing cost for cut and polish which is not that much big factor but still it is. There is no direct seller to customers Very big chain for diamonds to get to customers. Rough miners to dealers of there to Indian dealers to Indian manufacturers to Indian traders to other treatment to Jwellers and at last Customer. In this every step there is broker and profit of individual. And the highest earners are first of chain and last of chain. Base price is already high after all this and than the jewellers sell at 2x3x price of base price so it goes to high. If in surat market same quality diamond selling at 25000โน/ct than jewellers sell it at 75000โน/ct no limits . Also many other factors.
