whats your view on making farmers enabled to sell directly to consumers??

I some what agree with your points but If it is taken as small startup then it may be fruitful but If plan is pan India then this may lead to many negative consequences. Also it would be hard to get good profit as transportation cost , and wastage ( no matter how hard you try there will be wastage because the sales will not be consistent and you'd never know what quality is the farmer giving ) there Will be a great trust issue between farmer you and consumer. In a small scale it's very good ( many are already in this space btw ). Maybe if you crack something in distribution, wastage management and margins then this would be next level.
