What are your views on companies hiring freshers from tier 2-3 colleges for 2.4-4 LPA? Is it the curse of education that a Zomato delivery partner would earn more and they can not act on it? What needs to change here?
The education system is not the problem. It is designed to help individuals learn and understand the world around them. However, people often become comfortable with their surroundings and fail to explore new market skills and technologies.
Bro most of the freshers are unskilled and umemployable. We need to make our education system better first and then think of higher wages.

😿
Then Narayan Murthi has the audacity to ask people to work for 70 hours xD
This Companies designed there process in such a way that they can easily replace you with someone other. Blaming education system has no point you should only focus on upgrading your skill set instead on crying on low package initially.
No wonder standard of living in India is so low.

L TCS, Wipro and Infosys.
I think traditional businesses and jobs are highly underrated in India. If by selling hotdogs or pani puri I can earn 60k profit my only negative there is that the society will think I’m gareeb.

Freshers need time to learn their job and progress. That is exactly what these companies offer and it’s a fair deal in my opinion. Nobody stays and these low paying companies for long. They switch and get a hike.

Any company exploiting freshers for 2-4 LPA are really pathetic. It’s not enough to survive even for a single person.

The problem is with the education system and with the large scale MNCs which did not increase their salaries in proportion to inflation. Also the market requirements doesn’t cater to the number of folks that are pursuing the same career path. The problem is both with the employees and the jobs. And the Zomato point, know that the learning or the income curve of the Zomato guy won’t be near to an employee working right out of college.
The issue is the do hiring for hiring sake. They show workforce count as a metric to grab international projects. This is why you see most freshers benched without any work. They are treated as a resource, not as humans.
People with degree like CA, get 11 LPA. Average person takes atleast 25-26 to finish the degree and then gets 11L. Instead of going for degree, if they go for buisness, they will be earning more till 26
The problem is with the education system only.
