Buying a car when I couldn’t afford it. EMI’s are cancer. Please stay away from anything you can’t buy in cash.

I know this will sound rude but mine was sending a big chunk of my income back home. My mom and dad were absolutely dumb with handling money and kept buying things on EMI and wasted all my money which I thought would act as savings. Pathetic shortsightedness for their age but I have learned my lesson. Never again.

Lending money to relatives and friends. Haven’t see people turn so quickly when you ask for your own money back.
