4. Some learings from the startups I have invested in - - If you ask if someone has a problem and if they want a solution. They will always say yes. The key question is how deep is the problem for them and will they pay for it? - Insight generation depends on asking the right questions not leading questions. e.g- If I ask you do you think you like your home clean? you will say yes. Do you think a robot that can clean will be of interest to you? The answer will be yes. So a cleaning robot is a great idea, but it failed. Can you identify the problem here?

- Business has to be profitable. Incentivising the customers to build a habit is a difficult thing to build, can it be done yes. But it is very difficult and if you want to do it - Have a very good answer to why are you the only one who can do this. - Ideas are copied everyday - what matters is your unique insight and how you execute - Money is not the solution to any problem. Throwing money never helps. There have been many bootstrapped startups that were built, learn how to build frugally. - Beautiful products are not the solution. Even crappy products which solve real problems are paid for and beautiful products that do not solve real problems are unpaid for. - Why your customer should use your product, should have an answer in less than 10 words and with no jargons
