What is the reason that indian startups dont make their codebase Open Source compared to the valley ?

Could be multiple reasons. Indian companies often refrain from open-sourcing their code, citing reasons like safeguarding intellectual property, maintaining a competitive edge, and a preference for proprietary solutions. Cultural differences. Lot of the original silicon valley engineers are nurtured and educated in a different collaborative way than what it happens here T2/T3 Indian collages.
