The round also saw participation from Astir Ventures, Venture Catalysts Group, and angel investors including Bhavik Dholakia, Vishal Shah, Varun Patel, Viraj Lavingia, and Bhavin Sodavadiya. The Hyderabad-based company will use the fresh proceeds to accelerate product development, strengthen its core platform, and scale go-to-market efforts. It will also focus on advancing its AI planning engine, expanding automation capabilities, and building deeper integrations across ERP, MES, and shopfloor systems. The firm plans to invest in enterprise sales, strategic partnerships, and customer success and delivery capabilities. Founded by Abhinav Atthota and Rohan Agarwal, Workroom Automation builds a connected factory platform that acts as an intelligence layer across manufacturing systems. The platform connects data across ERP, MES, machines, and shopfloor workflows to enable real-time decision-making and automated execution. The companyโ€™s AI-powered planning engine converts complex demand into daily production plans and dynamically adjusts to constraints such as machine availability, material flow, and workforce changes. It aims to improve capacity utilization, reduce delays, and enhance execution across manufacturing operations. Workroom Automation has started deploying its platform across factories in sectors including automotive, electronics, industrial machinery, and consumer goods. It is focusing on scaling deployments across multiple factories within enterprises and expanding its presence among medium and large discrete manufacturing companies.
