Ready-to-cook food brand iD Fresh Food maintained its growth momentum in FY25, following its turnaround in FY24 when it became profitable. The firm’s revenue grew 22% year-on-year in the fiscal year ending March 2025, while its profit jumped over 5X in the same period. iD Fresh Food’s operating revenue rose to Rs 681.37 crore in FY25 from Rs 557.84 crore, its annual financial statements sourced from the Registrar of Companies (RoC) show. The Bengaluru-based firm earned most of its revenue from the sale of finished goods such as parotas and various batters, which accounted for 76.2% of its total operating income at Rs 518.93 crore. The remaining 23.8%, amounting to Rs 162.2 crore, came from traded goods including dairy products, chapatis, beverages, frozen fruits and chutneys. iD Fresh Food’s cost structure shows that the cost of goods sold was its largest expense, accounting for 50% of total costs. This expense rose 17% to Rs 332.17 crore in FY25 from Rs 283.34 crore in FY24. Meanwhile, employee benefits expenses rose 18% to Rs 143.91 crore, including ESOP costs of Rs 10.31 crore. Advertising and marketing expenses increased 11% year-on-year to Rs 52.34 crore. Rent expenses rose 26% to Rs 27 crore, while transportation costs spiked 45% to Rs 18.93 crore in FY25. Other overheads including power and fuel, legal and professional fees, repairs and maintenance, and travel expenses added another Rs 87 crore, taking total expenses to Rs 661.49 crore. Cash outflows from operating activities tripled to Rs 33.35 crore in FY25. In the end, the company’s revenue growth outpaced the rise in total expenses. As a result, iD Fresh Food’s profit surged over 5X to Rs 25.87 crore from Rs 4.43 crore in FY24. The deferred tax credit of Rs 24.88 crore has been excluded from the analysis, as it is a non-cash item and not part of the company’s core operations. On a unit level, the Premji Invest-backed firm spent Rs 0.97 to earn a rupee of operating revenue in FY25, compared to Rs 1 in FY24. It also improved its EBITDA margin to 8.68% during the last fiscal year. As of March 2025, iD Fresh Food recorded current assets worth Rs 206.74 crore including Rs 99.21 crore in cash and bank balance. According to startup data intelligence platform TheKredible, iD Fresh Food has raised around $120 million to date from investors, with Premji Invest and NewQuest Capital among the lead backers.

Furlenco’s revenue from operations grew to Rs 229 crore in FY25 from Rs 139 crore in FY24, according to its consolidated financial statements sourced from the Registrar of Companies (RoC). Furlenco provides furniture and home decor for rent along with relocation services. Income from furniture rental services accounted for 91% of the operating revenue, which grew by 61% to Rs 208 crore in FY25. Income from the sale of products (furniture including sofas and beds), more than doubled to Rs 21 crore during the fiscal year ending March 2025. Including other non-operating activities such as treasury gains of Rs 11 crore, its total income rose to Rs 240 crore in FY25. The company streamlined its cost structure and reduced its total expense by 16% to Rs 237 crore in FY25 from Rs 282 crore in FY24. Employee benefits expenses decreased by 35% year-on-year to Rs 31 crore in FY25, while finance costs dropped 41% to Rs 19 crore in FY25. Cost of material, however, rose 33% to Rs 8 crore in FY25. Depreciation on the company’s furniture rose 29% to Rs 45 crore in FY25 from Rs 35 crore in FY24. With strong revenue growth and lower burn, Furlenco turned profitable and posted a profit of Rs 3 crore in FY25, in contrast to a loss of Rs 130 crore in FY24. Its ROCE and EBITDA margin improved significantly to 5.68% and 24.45%, respectively. On a per-unit basis, the firm spent Rs 1.03 to earn every rupee of operating revenue, compared to Rs 2.03 in FY24. Furlenco’s current assets stood at Rs 106 crore, including cash and bank balances of Rs 32 crore in FY25. According to startup data intelligence platform TheKredible, Furlenco has raised a total of $298 m in funding till date, with Sheela Foam and Lightbox Ventures as its lead investors. The company’s founder and chief executive, Ajith Mohan Karimpana owns 12% of the company. Furlenco certainly seems to have discovered a better playbook for its business, because numbers like these looked unlikely till last year. While the concept has certainly found takers, operating costs had been too high to offer hope of such a turnaround. So credit to the team for having pulled it off.

The Noida-based company’s operating revenue rose to Rs 791 crore in Q1 FY26 from Rs 677 crore in Q1 FY25, according to documents sourced from the National Stock Exchange (NSE). On a quarter-on-quarter basis, Info Edge’s operating revenue rose 5.5% to Rs 791 crore in Q1 FY26 from Rs 750 crore in Q4 FY25. Info Edge derives the majority of its revenue from Naukri.com, which contributed Rs 562 crore in the quarter ending June 2025, a 15% year-on-year growth compared to Q1 FY25. Meanwhile, revenue from 99acres reached Rs 111 crore, while Jeevansathi and Shiksha contributed Rs 34 crore and Rs 50 crore, respectively, during the same quarter. The company added another Rs 213 crore from interest on deposits and investment which pushed its overall revenue to Rs 1,004 crore in Q1 FY26. On the expense side, Info Edge spent 58% of its overall expenditure on employee benefits, which increased 12% year-on-year to Rs 327 crore in Q1 FY26. Its advertising and internet costs stood at Rs 127 crore and Rs 22 crore, respectively. The company’s overall cost grew 16% YoY to Rs 564 crore in Q1 FY26 from Rs 485 crore in Q1 FY25. Info Edge’s profit grew by 32% to Rs 343 crore in Q1 FY26, compared to Rs 259 crore in Q1 FY25. Its EBITDA stood at Rs 468 crore in the same period. As of 2:22 PM (Friday, August 8), Info Edge is trading at Rs 1,333.5, down 2% from today’s opening price. The firm’s market capitalization stands at Rs 86,277 crore ($9.8 billion).

For Delhivery, freight handling and servicing costs made up 70% of its total expenditure, rising by 3% to Rs 1,566 crore in Q4 FY25. Employee benefit expenses decreased by 6% to Rs 337 crore. Legal, depreciation, and other overhead costs contributed to a minor decrease in overall expenditure, which reached Rs 2,249 crore during the quarter. For the full financial year ending March 2025, the firm’s total expenses rose to Rs 9,217 crore as against Rs 8,825 crore in FY24. Delhivery's continued growth and controlled expenditure resulted in a profit of Rs 72 crore in Q4 FY25, compared to a loss of Rs 68 crore in Q4 FY24. On a fiscal basis, it turned profitable and reported a net profit of Rs 162 crore in FY25 as compared to a loss of Rs 249 crore in FY24. At the close of today’s trading session, Delhivery’s share price stood at Rs 321 per share, giving the company a market capitalization of Rs 23,957 crore.

Fees, commissions, and other operating income collectively stood at Rs 50 crore during the year. Including other income of Rs 16 crore, Auxilo’s total revenue reached Rs 544 crore in FY25. On the expenditure side, interest costs accounted for 71.5% of total expenses, rising in line with disbursements to Rs 282 crore in FY25. Employee benefits were recorded at Rs 56 crore, while overall costs increased to Rs 394 crore in FY25, compared to Rs 275 crore in FY24. The company’s controlled cost structure supported profitability, leading to a 62.3% jump in PAT to Rs 112 crore in FY25, against Rs 69 crore in FY24. Auxilo’s expense-to-revenue ratio also improved to 0.75 in FY25. Earlier this year, Auxilo raised Rs 50 crore from Motilal Oswal. Since its inception, it has secured over $100 million across equity and debt. The company competes with other well-funded education-financing players such as Grayquest, Avanse Financial, Financepeer, Propelld, Leap Finance, and Eduvanz.

Zype, which has been operating as a NBFC, provides unsecured personal loans to young salaried professionals for purposes such as weddings, home repairs, and medical expenses. In FY25, interest income from its loan portfolio surged nearly sixfold to Rs 62 crore from Rs 10.58 crore in FY24, contributing 61% of its revenue. Processing fees also expanded 5X to Rs 34.39 crore, accounting for 34% of its topline. Zype also generated Rs 4.8 crore from other operating services, including penal charges, and an additional Rs 4.7 crore from non-operating sources such as interest on fixed deposits, income tax refunds, and gains on mutual funds. This took its total income to Rs 106 crore in FY25. Employee benefit expenses made up 20% of total costs, rising 89% to Rs 24 crore in FY25. Finance costs on borrowings contributed 19%, jumping to Rs 22.6 crore from just Rs 1.6 crore in FY24, while marketing expenses also doubled during the year to Rs 10 crore. The company wrote off bad debts worth Rs 19 crore and made provisioning of Rs 7.95 crore for non-performing assets (NPAs), together accounting for 22.67% of total expenses. Other overheads, including lease rentals for office and equipment, legal and professional fees, IT expenses, verification costs and others added another Rs 35.4 crore. Overall total expenditure for the firm rose over 3.3X to Rs 118.9 crore in FY25, compared to Rs 35.8 crore in FY24. Despite the revenue growth, write-offs of bad debts and provisions for NPAs pushed its losses up 76% to Rs 12.85 crore in FY25 from Rs 7.3 crore in FY24. At a unit level, Zype spent Rs 1.17 to earn one rupee of operating revenue in FY25. As of March 2025, the company’s current assets stood at Rs 368.7 crore, including cash and bank balances of Rs 33.65 crore. Revenue from brokerage services was its largest stream which accounted for 56% of the total income. This income more than doubled to Rs 14 crore in FY25 from Rs 6.3 crore in FY24. Revenue from advisory services brought in Rs 9 crore, a 24% year-on-year increase, while commission income surged 110% to Rs 2 crore during the period. Wealthy also reported Rs 10 crore as non-operating income, pushing its total income to Rs 35 crore in FY25. Employee benefit expenses remained its largest cost center, forming over 53% of the total expenses. This cost grew 23% to Rs 37 crore in FY25 from Rs 30 crore in FY24. Overall, Wealthy’s total expenditure rose 41% year-on-year to Rs 70 crore in FY25 from Rs 49.5 crore in the previous fiscal year. The AWI-backed company recorded a net loss of Rs 35 crore in the last fiscal year, which went up by 46% from Rs 24 crore in FY24. Its ROCE and EBITDA margin stood at -155.17% and -152%, respectively. On a unit level, the firm spent Rs 2.8 to earn a rupee of operating revenue during FY25, compared to Rs 3.41 in FY24. As of March 2025, the Bengaluru-based firm recorded current assets worth Rs 17.5 crore including Rs 7 crore in cash and bank balance. According to startup data intelligence platform TheKredible, Wealthy has raised a total of Rs 117.27 crore including Rs 45 crore in Series B round led by Falcon Edge’s Alpha Wave Incubation Fund which is the largest stakeholder with close to 23% as of the firm’s Series A. Its co-founders Aditya Agarwal and Prashant Gupta together own 34.5% of the company.

Delhivery has recently ventured into the quick commerce segment with a two-hour delivery service to cater to the rising consumer demand for faster order fulfillment. Initially launched in Bengaluru, the service will support brands across categories such as beauty and personal care, fashion, and electronics.

Founded in 2019, Nutrifresh Farms uses hydroponic technology to grow pesticide-free fruits and vegetables in climate-controlled farms. Operating largely on a B2B model, it supplies fresh produce to clients like Zepto, Swiggy Instamart, Blinkit, McDonald’s, and Spar, and also offers customized salads through subscriptions. Sale of fresh produce and salads was the sole source of operating revenue for the company. The firm also earned Rs 4.55 crore on interest on deposits which took its total income to Rs 149.77 crore in the last fiscal year. Procurement of materials accounted for 72% total expenses for Nutrifresh which stood at Rs 96.12 crore. This cost surged over 70% in FY25 from Rs 56 crore in the previous fiscal year. Employee benefit expenses also increased by 70% to Rs 10.96 crore while depreciation and amortization expenses accounted for Rs 10.4 crore. Finance cost, rent, transportation cost and other overheads led the overall expenses for the firm to Rs 134.25 crore in FY25 which rose by 48%. Driven by a 50% rise in operating scale, Nutrifresh Farms recorded a 55% jump in operating profit to Rs 13.86 crore in FY25 from Rs 8.94 crore in FY24. The company’s EBITDA margin and ROCE improved to 17.31% and 5.6%, respectively. On a unit level, the company spent Rs 0.92 to earn every rupee of operating revenue in the last fiscal year. According to startup data intelligence platform TheKredible, Nutrifresh Farms has raised approximately $20 million across two funding rounds, including a $5 million seed round in May 2022.

The firm made 38.3% of its total operating revenue (Rs 2,072 crore) via the food ordering and delivery business. Collections from its Hyperpure supplies (B2B business) increased 13.4% to Rs 1,671 crore during the same period while the quick commerce vertical (Blinkit) contributed Rs 1,399 crore to the group’s coffers. The remaining income came from the ‘Going-out’ segment and other operating activities during the quarter ending December 2024. Blinkit’s revenue ramped up over 117% YoY from Rs 644 crore generated in Q3 FY24. Zomato also earned Rs 252 crore as non-operating income (mainly from interest and gains on financial assets) in Q3 FY25. As a result, its overall revenue reached Rs 5,657 crore during the period. Coming to expenses, delivery and related charges accounted for 26% in Q3 which registered at Rs 1,450 crore. The purchase of stock (after adjustment of changes in inventories) inclined to Rs 1,500 crore, while employee benefits cost was at Rs 689 crore during the quarter. Zomato also spent Rs 521 crore on and promotions, akin to which its total expenditure rose 63.6% YoY to Rs 5,533 crore in Q3 of FY25. Zomato’s profits slipped 57.2% YoY to Rs 59 crore in Q3. In the previous quarter (Q2 FY25), it booked Rs 176 crore in profits. On a unit level, the company spent Rs 1.02 to earn a rupee in Q3 of FY25. For the nine-month ended period (Apr-Dec 2025), Zomato recorded Rs 14,410 crore revenue from operations with a profit of Rs 488 crore. In December 2024, Zomato achieved a historic milestone by becoming the first Indian startup to join the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) Sensex 30, replacing JSW Steel Limited. In the race for instant food delivery, a few days back, Zomato re-introduced a 15-minute food delivery service in select cities. The company also received a GST demand notice amounting to Rs 803 crore from the Thane Commissionerate in Maharashtra, related to the non-payment of GST on delivery charges, including interest and penalties. In the first week of January, Zomato was trading above Rs 250 when its foreign brokerage Jefferies downgraded Zomato from “buy” to “hold” rating, citing competition in the quick commerce space. Following the rating, its price tumbled down under Rs 230, however, on the back of strong YoY growth, the company is regaining momentum as its price is at Rs 239.9 with a market cap of Rs 2,10,336 crore or $24.3 Bn. In December 2024, Zomato achieved its all-time high price at Rs 304.5 a share.
