Wealthy, an investment advisory and wealth management platform, achieved a 72% year-on-year increase in scale during FY25. This came after a two-fold expansion in the preceding fiscal year (FY24), showing the firm's continued growth momentum. Wealthy’s revenue from operations grew to Rs 25 crore in FY25 from Rs 14.5 crore in FY24, according to its financial statements sourced from the Registrar of Companies (RoC). Revenue from brokerage services was its largest stream which accounted for 56% of the total income. This income more than doubled to Rs 14 crore in FY25 from Rs 6.3 crore in FY24. Revenue from advisory services brought in Rs 9 crore, a 24% year-on-year increase, while commission income surged 110% to Rs 2 crore during the period. Wealthy also reported Rs 10 crore as non-operating income, pushing its total income to Rs 35 crore in FY25. Employee benefit expenses remained its largest cost center, forming over 53% of the total expenses. This cost grew 23% to Rs 37 crore in FY25 from Rs 30 crore in FY24. Legal and professional fees more than doubled to Rs 9 crore, while commission costs increased 69% to Rs 7.6 crore. Advertising spend also saw a sharp rise of 92% to Rs 2.5 crore in the last fiscal year. Overall, Wealthy’s total expenditure rose 41% year-on-year to Rs 70 crore in FY25 from Rs 49.5 crore in the previous fiscal year. The AWI-backed company recorded a net loss of Rs 35 crore in the last fiscal year, which went up by 46% from Rs 24 crore in FY24. Its ROCE and EBITDA margin stood at -155.17% and -152%, respectively. On a unit level, the firm spent Rs 2.8 to earn a rupee of operating revenue during FY25, compared to Rs 3.41 in FY24. As of March 2025, the Bengaluru-based firm recorded current assets worth Rs 17.5 crore including Rs 7 crore in cash and bank balance. According to startup data intelligence platform TheKredible, Wealthy has raised a total of Rs 117.27 crore including Rs 45 crore in Series B round led by Falcon Edge’s Alpha Wave Incubation Fund which is the largest stakeholder with close to 23% as of the firm’s Series A. Its co-founders Aditya Agarwal and Prashant Gupta together own 34.5% of the company.

As a result, Furlenco posted a Rs 3 crore profit after tax (PAT) in FY25, compared with a Rs 130 crore loss in FY24. Furlenco’s revenue from operations grew to Rs 229 crore in FY25 from Rs 139 crore in FY24, according to its consolidated financial statements sourced from the Registrar of Companies (RoC). Furlenco provides furniture and home decor for rent along with relocation services. Income from furniture rental services accounted for 91% of the operating revenue, which grew by 61% to Rs 208 crore in FY25. Income from the sale of products (furniture including sofas and beds), more than doubled to Rs 21 crore during the fiscal year ending March 2025. Including other non-operating activities such as treasury gains of Rs 11 crore, its total income rose to Rs 240 crore in FY25. The company streamlined its cost structure and reduced its total expense by 16% to Rs 237 crore in FY25 from Rs 282 crore in FY24. Employee benefits expenses decreased by 35% year-on-year to Rs 31 crore in FY25, while finance costs dropped 41% to Rs 19 crore in FY25. Cost of material, however, rose 33% to Rs 8 crore in FY25. Depreciation on the company’s furniture rose 29% to Rs 45 crore in FY25 from Rs 35 crore in FY24. With strong revenue growth and lower burn, Furlenco turned profitable and posted a profit of Rs 3 crore in FY25, in contrast to a loss of Rs 130 crore in FY24. Its ROCE and EBITDA margin improved significantly to 5.68% and 24.45%, respectively. On a per-unit basis, the firm spent Rs 1.03 to earn every rupee of operating revenue, compared to Rs 2.03 in FY24. Furlenco’s current assets stood at Rs 106 crore, including cash and bank balances of Rs 32 crore in FY25. According to startup data intelligence platform TheKredible, Furlenco has raised a total of $298 m in funding till date, with Sheela Foam and Lightbox Ventures as its lead investors. The company’s founder and chief executive, Ajith Mohan Karimpana owns 12% of the company. Furlenco certainly seems to have discovered a better playbook for its business, because numbers like these looked unlikely till last year. While the concept has certainly found takers, operating costs had been too high to offer hope of such a turnaround. So credit to the team for having pulled it off.

Smartworks, a leading managed workspace platform, reported a 32% growth in operating revenue to Rs 1,374 crore in FY25. However, despite the strong topline growth, the company’s losses widened 26% in FY25. Smartworks’ revenue from operations increased by 32% to Rs 1374 crore in FY25 from Rs 1039 crore in FY24, according to its financial statement sourced from RHP. SmartWorks provides flexible office space for large enterprises, SMEs, and high-growth startups and leverages its robust phygital platform to deliver fully serviced, tech-enabled, flexible, and affordable workspaces. Lease rentals accounted for over 93% of its operating revenue, which rose by 29% to Rs 1,289 crore in FY25. Other sources included design and fit-out services at Rs 35 crore, ancillary services at Rs 49 crore, and a marginal Rs 1 crore from software fees. Smartworks added another Rs 36 crore from non-operating sources, which pushed its total revenue to Rs 1410 crore in FY25. On the expense side, the largest cost head was depreciation, which increased 35% to Rs 636 crore, followed by operating expenses of Rs 416 crore. Finance costs remained relatively stable at Rs 336 crore, while employee benefit expenses rose to Rs 65 crore. Overall, total expenses increased by 26% to Rs 1,489 crore in FY25 from Rs 1,180 crore in FY24. Despite revenue growth, the company’s loss increased by 26% to Rs 63 crore in FY25 as compared to Rs 50 crore in FY24. However, the company reported a positive EBITDA of Rs 893 crore in FY25 with an EBITDA margin of 63.3% and ROCE of 7.48%. On a unit level, Smartworks spent Rs 1.08 to earn a rupee of operating revenue in FY25, marginally better than the previous year’s ratio of Rs 1.14. The Gurugram-based company reported current assets worth Rs 255 crore in FY25, including Rs 69 crore in cash and bank balances. Smartworks is heading to the public markets with its Rs 583 crore IPO opening on July 10 and closing on July 14, 2025. The company has set a price band of Rs 387 to Rs 407 per share with a lot size of 36 shares, requiring a minimum investment of Rs 14,652 for retail investors.

For the digital insurance provider, income from gross premium earned made up 73.5% of its total income, rising 31% to Rs 2,085 crore during the last fiscal year. Service contracts, recoveries from reinsurers, commissions, interest income from investments, and other miscellaneous income pushed total revenue to Rs 2,887 crore in FY25, up from Rs 2,160 crore in FY24. In terms of cost breakdown, employee benefit expenses declined slightly by 6% to Rs 334 crore in FY25 from Rs 355 crore in FY24, accounting for 10% of the company’s total costs. The firm also cut its advertising spend by 12% to Rs 497 crore, while commissions paid to sole selling agents rose 35% to Rs 283 crore during the previous fiscal. A large portion of the company’s expenses was grouped under miscellaneous costs, primarily comprising claims paid, premium on reinsurance ceded, and other office and administrative expenses. This category amounted to Rs 2,006 crore in FY25. Overall, the total expenses for the Accel-backed company rose 17% to Rs 3,312 crore in FY25, compared to Rs 2,830 crore in FY24. Stronger top-line and tighter cost control helped Acko to reduce its losses by 37% to Rs 424 crore in FY25. Its ROCE and EBITDA margin improved to -30.5% and -16%, respectively. On a unit basis, Acko spent Rs 1.17 to earn a rupee in FY25. The company’s current assets stood at Rs 1,798 crore, including Rs 28 crore in cash and bank balance at the end of FY25. According to TheKredible, Acko has raised over $458 million to date. General Atlantic is the largest external shareholder with a 10.7% stake, followed by Accel Partners and Elevation Capital. Acko’s competitor Digit Insurance reported Rs 2,088 crore operating revenue in Q2 FY26, while its profit after tax increased by 30% to Rs 116.5 crore during the same period.

Its existing investors Shepherd’s Hill Group and Alpha Wave Global also participated. The proceeds will be used to expand Wealthy’s advisor network, improve its product stack, and increase penetration in new markets. It is also expected to strengthen its technology infrastructure and compliance systems as product categories scale. Founded in 2015, Wealthy operates a digital marketplace for financial products and a distribution platform for advisors. The company enables independent financial advisors to sell mutual funds, insurance, fixed deposits, bonds, and other wealth products through its technology stack. According to the company, its AUM has increased from Rs 200 crore to Rs 5,000 crore over the past three years, reflecting strong business expansion. Wealthy now operates 20 offices across India, with a significant presence in major cities such as Bengaluru, Mumbai, Hyderabad, Ahmedabad, Surat, Jaipur, Gurugram, Delhi, Faridabad, Ghaziabad, Lucknow, Kanpur, and Kolkata. The platform claims to process over Rs 300 crore in monthly transactions and works with more than 6,000 mutual fund distributors serving over 100,000 clients. As per TheKredible, Wealthy’s revenue from operations grew to Rs 25 crore in FY25 from Rs 14.5 crore in FY24. The AWI-backed company recorded a net loss of Rs 35 crore in the last fiscal year, compared to Rs 24 crore in FY24.

Travel fintech startup Scapia has raised $40 million in a Series B round led by Peak XV shortly after FY25, as investors doubled down on the company’s growth potential. The fundraiser follows over 70% year-on-year growth in scale. However, losses continue to remain a key challenge for the company. Scapia’s operating revenue surged to Rs 29 crore in FY25 from Rs 17 crore in FY24, according to its financial statements sourced from the Registrar of Companies (RoC). Founded by Anil Goteti, Scapia operates as a fintech-travel platform, offering a lifetime-free credit card with travel rewards. It generates revenue through interchange fees, interest on EMIs, and partner commissions from travel bookings. Service income remained the largest contributor to the company, which accounted for 82.8% of operating revenue. This income increased 60% to Rs 24 crore in FY25. Revenue from convenience fees more than tripled to Rs 3.4 crore, while commission income grew 71.4% to Rs 1.2 crore during the year. On the cost side, employee benefit expenses emerged as the largest cost head, accounting for nearly half of the total cost. This expense jumped 71.8% to Rs 61 crore in FY25 from Rs 35.5 crore in FY24. Advertising expenses declined sharply by 35% to Rs 32 crore in FY25 from Rs 49.5 crore in FY24. Other operating costs, such as lounge service expenses remained flat at Rs 7 crore, while subscription charges rose 17% to Rs 7 crore. Customer support costs increased marginally to Rs 4 crore, and other expenses climbed 21% to Rs 12.5 crore. Overall, Scapia’s total expenses increased 10% to Rs 123.5 crore in FY25 from Rs 112 crore in FY24. With Scapia’s revenue outpacing expense growth, its net loss reduced to Rs 83 crore in FY25 from Rs 88 crore in FY24. Its ROCE and EBITDA margin stood at -22.98% and -322.41%, respectively. On a unit basis, Scapia spent Rs 4.26 to earn a rupee in FY25, an improvement from Rs 6.59 in FY24. The company strengthened its balance sheet during the year, with cash and bank balance worth Rs 305 crore, while its current assets more than doubled to Rs 331 crore. Scapia has raised a total of $72 million of funding to date, having Peak XV Partners, Matrix Partners and Elevation Capital as its lead investors. The company’s founder, Anil Goteti, owns 40% of the company.

Delhivery's primary revenue sources were its logistics services, including warehousing, last-mile logistics, and designing and deploying logistics management systems. The firm also earned Rs 112 crore from non-operating activities, bringing its total revenue to Rs 2,303 crore in Q4 FY25. Meanwhile, for the full fiscal year, total income reached Rs 9,372 crore. For Delhivery, freight handling and servicing costs made up 70% of its total expenditure, rising by 3% to Rs 1,566 crore in Q4 FY25. Employee benefit expenses decreased by 6% to Rs 337 crore. Legal, depreciation, and other overhead costs contributed to a minor decrease in overall expenditure, which reached Rs 2,249 crore during the quarter. For the full financial year ending March 2025, the firm’s total expenses rose to Rs 9,217 crore as against Rs 8,825 crore in FY24. Delhivery's continued growth and controlled expenditure resulted in a profit of Rs 72 crore in Q4 FY25, compared to a loss of Rs 68 crore in Q4 FY24. On a fiscal basis, it turned profitable and reported a net profit of Rs 162 crore in FY25 as compared to a loss of Rs 249 crore in FY24. At the close of today’s trading session, Delhivery’s share price stood at Rs 321 per share, giving the company a market capitalization of Rs 23,957 crore.

On a quarter-on-quarter basis, Info Edge’s operating revenue rose 5.5% to Rs 791 crore in Q1 FY26 from Rs 750 crore in Q4 FY25. Info Edge derives the majority of its revenue from Naukri.com, which contributed Rs 562 crore in the quarter ending June 2025, a 15% year-on-year growth compared to Q1 FY25. Meanwhile, revenue from 99acres reached Rs 111 crore, while Jeevansathi and Shiksha contributed Rs 34 crore and Rs 50 crore, respectively, during the same quarter. The company added another Rs 213 crore from interest on deposits and investment which pushed its overall revenue to Rs 1,004 crore in Q1 FY26. On the expense side, Info Edge spent 58% of its overall expenditure on employee benefits, which increased 12% year-on-year to Rs 327 crore in Q1 FY26. Its advertising and internet costs stood at Rs 127 crore and Rs 22 crore, respectively. The company’s overall cost grew 16% YoY to Rs 564 crore in Q1 FY26 from Rs 485 crore in Q1 FY25. Info Edge’s profit grew by 32% to Rs 343 crore in Q1 FY26, compared to Rs 259 crore in Q1 FY25. Its EBITDA stood at Rs 468 crore in the same period. As of 2:22 PM (Friday, August 8), Info Edge is trading at Rs 1,333.5, down 2% from today’s opening price. The firm’s market capitalization stands at Rs 86,277 crore ($9.8 billion).

The Delhi-based company saw nearly 3% decline in revenue in the previous fiscal year (FY24). Founded in 2015, Ustraa offers products such as fragrances, hair care, face care, and beard care. Following its acquisition, the company's founders, Rahul Anand and Rajat Tuli, continued to work with the brand while also leading VLCC's D2C initiatives. Material cost, its largest expense component, fell 55% to Rs 27 crore in FY25 from Rs 60 crore in FY24. Advertising expenses declined 60% to Rs 9 crore in FY25. Employee benefit expenses reduced 35% to Rs 10 crore, and transportation costs decreased to Rs 7 crore. The company, however, saw its commission payouts grow 36% to Rs 15 crore during the fiscal. Overall, Ustraa’s total expenses dropped 39% to Rs 88 crore in FY25 from Rs 145 crore in FY24. With the company’s expenses contracting more than revenue, Ustraa managed to narrow its losses by 72% to Rs 14 crore in FY25 from Rs 50 crore in FY24. Its EBITDA loss stood at Rs 13.4 crore with an EBITDA margin of -18.36%. On a unit basis, Ustraa spent Rs 1.21 to earn a rupee in FY25, improving from Rs 1.54 in the previous fiscal. The company reported cash and bank balances of Rs 4 crore, while its current assets stood at Rs 30 crore, down from Rs 42 crore in FY24. Ustraa was acquired by personal care brand VLCC through a share swap and secondary buyout in the first quarter of FY24. Following the acquisition, Ustraa’s existing investors including Info Edge, 360 One and Wipro Consumer Care Ventures became stakeholders of VLCC. The brand directly competes with Beardo, The Man Company, and Bombay Shaving Company. Beardo reported a 23.7% rise in revenue to Rs 214 crore in FY25, along with a 3.6X jump in profit after tax (PAT) during the same period. The Man Company and Bombay Shaving Company, which recently raised Rs 136 crore ahead of a potential initial public offering (IPO), are yet to report their FY25 numbers. Notably, all these companies have either become part of a larger group or sold a significant stake to a major corporation.

CE Info Systems, the parent company of MapMyIndia, has released its financial results for the first quarter of FY25. The firm reported a 5.1% decrease in its quarter-on-quarter revenue when compared to Q4 FY24. MapmyIndia’s revenue from operations declined by 5.1% to Rs 101.5 crore in Q1 FY25 from Rs 107 crore in Q4 FY24. However, its income increased by 13.5% when compared to the first quarter of FY24, its unaudited consolidated quarterly report sourced from NSE shows. Income from digital map data, GPS navigation, location based services and IoT were the primary source of revenue for MapMyIndia in Q1 FY25. The cost of IoT devices, employee benefit and technical services (outsourced) were the major cost elements, which pushed total cost of the firm to Rs 63.9 crore in Q1 FY25 against Rs 72 crore in Q4 FY24. With the depletion in scale, MapmyIndia recorded a 6.25% decrease in its profit to Rs 35.86 crore during Q1 FY25 as compared to Rs 38.25 crore in the last quarter of previous fiscal year (Q4 FY24). The Delhi-based firm estimated its revenue would touch Rs 1,00 crore in FY 27-28. MapMyIndia is currently trading at Rs 2,309 per shares (as of 04.24PM) with a market capitalization of Rs 12,485 crore ($1.5 billion) MapMyIndia recently sent legal notice to Ola Electric for copying its data as the EV scooter firm launched its own mapping service. The firm claimed that Ola Electric breached the license agreement, which was signed in October 2022. In a response to allegations, Ola founder Bhavish Aggarwal labeled it as an opportunistic move.
