Fashion and premium electronics dominate India’s 2024 festive ecommerce sales: Redseer

The fashion category, especially ethnic wear like kurta and kurti sets, performed exceptionally well during India's 2024 ecommerce festive sales. This was driven by the ongoing wedding season and high demand from Tier II+ cities. Unbranded and value segments in women's apparel, daily-wear jewellery, and kids' fashion also experienced significant growth. Demand for premium electronics like air conditioners and refrigerators increased, while the television segment grew at a slower pace. The mobile phone market had mixed growth, with a shift towards iOS observed. Beauty, personal care, home furnishings, and décor categories also performed strongly during the festive sales period.
