The proceeds will be used to expand Decode Age’s biomarker discovery programmes, strengthen its multi-omics and microbiome research pipeline, and upgrade scientific and analytical infrastructure. The firm is also working on research-backed supplements and longevity solutions linked to aging pathways such as metabolism, inflammation, cellular energy, and cognitive health. Decode Age has built an in-house platform covering genome-scale gut microbiome analysis, metagenomics, and biomarker research. Its systems are designed to support clinicians, researchers, and individuals seeking data-driven insights into long-term health and aging. The startup is also expanding its scientific and product teams as it looks to take its longevity research beyond India. It collaborates with academic and global research initiatives, including work linked to IISc and international longevity programmes, to generate microbiome and ageing data aligned with global research standards.

This $360K raise follows a $500K seed round in October 2024, backed by Expert Dojo, Agility Ventures, Sunn91 Ventures, government seed schemes, and angels like Nitish Mittersain and Ahana Gautam—bringing Lifechart’s total funding to over $1 million. Co-founded in 2022 by Mukul Shah and Mansi Sharma, Guttify is a gut health brand designed for India’s urban population (tier I and III cities), and it adopts a diagnosis-first approach. It offers DIY at-home gut testing kits and clinically validated solutions that combine modern science with herbal methods. Its first product, a pH saliva testing kit for acidity, is already live, with more kits priced as low as Rs 99 set to launch in the coming months. Guttify aims to empower every Indian with accessible, accurate, and personalized gut health solutions—grounded in science, enabled by technology, and inspired by Ayurveda. Lifechart and Guttify aspire to build a full-stack science-backed gut wellness ecosystem to address the urgent and widespread gut health crisis in India. According to market research, the Indian gut wellness market is projected at $18 billion and over 60% of the Indian population suffers from digestive issues.

Dhun Wellness raises $4 Mn led by SRF and Havells India Wellness startup Dhun Wellness has raised $4 million (approximately Rs 36.6 crore) in a funding round co-led by SRF Ltd and Havells India. The round also saw participation from other angel investors, including Arushi Aayush Agrawal, Ash Lilani, Tracxn co-founder Abhishek Goyal, Sanjay Kapoor, and others. The proceeds will be used to expand its footprint to Pune, Hyderabad, Bengaluru, and Ahmedabad, Dhun said in a press release. Launched in 2023 by Mira Kapoor, Dhun Wellness is an urban wellness sanctuary offering integrated healing, recovery, and rejuvenation through a blend of traditional Indian practices (such as Ayurveda and sound healing) and modern longevity science (including cryotherapy and infrared sauna). The offering is designed for city dwellers seeking holistic well-being without leaving the city, with a focus on personalised seven-day programmes and a luxury experience that helps individuals tune into their bodies. According to Dhun Wellness, the platform blends ancient Eastern wisdom with Western longevity science to address the root causes of imbalance, including fatigue, sleep issues, and gut health. The startup customises seven-day wellness programmes featuring consultations, nutritional guidance, and at-home plans, supported by a 24/7 concierge. As per a market report, the health and wellness market is projected to reach $256.9 billion by 2033. The Mumbai-based startup plans to build a comprehensive longevity vertical focused on preventive care, personalised wellness protocols, and long-term health optimisation. It said it is witnessing 15% month-on-month growth in demand.
