At-home wellness services brand Cura Care has raised Rs 5 crore in a pre-seed funding round led by Zeropearl VC, with participation from friends, family, and notable angel investors, including Shripad Nadkarni and the late Rohan Mirchandani. The fresh funds will be used to validate its product-market fit and enhance its customer promise by delivering exceptional at-home wellness experiences, Cura Care said in a press release. Co-founded in January 2025 by Abhinav Kumar, Chinmay Mittal, and Paminder Singh, Cura Care aims to empower oral hygiene in India. The company aims to address the pressing issues surrounding oral health in India, where over 120 crore people are affected by poor oral hygiene. Cura Care aspires to integrate oral wellness into the daily self-care routines of Indians, providing a booking experience and service quality. The company offers premium at-home services like teeth cleaning, scaling, polishing, and whitening, delivered by DCI-certified dentists using customized portable dental units. This model prioritizes hygiene, safety, and convenience for customers. Since its launch, Cura Care claims that it has already served over 1,000 customers through at-home visits and oral wellness camps. The startup boasts an impressive Net Promoter Score (NPS) of over 90% and an average customer rating of 4.87.

Prior to this, the company had secured Rs 1.1 crore in equity during its pre-seed round in 2024. The fresh capital will be deployed towards diversifying the product mix, expanding sales channels, and opening physical retail stores, Gully Labs said in a press release. Co-founded in 2023 by Arjun Singh and Animesh Mishra, Gully Labs crafts handmade sneakers, blending premium materials with culturally rich design stories โ€” from Phulkari-embroidered trainers to Onam-inspired silhouettes. Gully Labs sells its products through its website and in select partner stores across Indian metros. The company plans to build a larger production facility, broaden its product line across diverse sneaker styles, and deepen its reach across India and global markets. It also plans to launch exclusive retail outlets as part of its omni-channel strategy.

Lifestyle brand Uni Seoul has raised Rs 5 crore ($585K) in a seed funding round led by Sauce VC, with participation from Panthera Peak Ventures, Arun Venkatachalam, Sangeet Agrawal, Navin Parwal, and Yogesh Kabra. The proceeds will be used to expand its offline presence in tier I cities, including Bengaluru, Hyderabad, and Chennai. Uni Seoul also plans to launch new private labels, upgrade its direct-to-consumer platform, strengthen marketing efforts, and improve its supply chain operations. Founded by Gaurav Karmani and Mohit Khurana, Uni Seoul sells products across home and living, personal care, gifting, and fashion accessories categories. The company operates four profitable stores in Pune, Hyderabad, Bangalore, and Nashik. The brand offers over 700 stock-keeping units (SKUs) across categories such as home & living, personal care, gifting, and fashion accessories. Approximately 40% of its products are manufactured in India through contract manufacturers, while the remaining are sourced from over 200 vendors in South Korea, India, China, and Vietnam. Uni Seoul operates two offline stores located in Pune and Nashik. The firm has also launched its online store in October 2023, which has contributed to 27% of its revenue without any marketing campaigns. The brand claims to have reported strong customer retention and an average rating of 4.8 across channels and aims to triple its growth in the next year.

Agetech startup Kites Senior Care has raised Rs 45 crore ($5.4 million) in its Series A round led by Ranjan Pai, chairman of Manipal Education and Medical Group (MEMG) through his family office. Previously in January 2023, Kites had raised Rs 14 crore in a pre-series A round from Ranjan Pai. The proceeds will be used to deepen its presence in cities like Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Chennai, while also facilitating expansion into three additional cities across Southern India, the company said in a press release. Founded in 2016 by Rajagopal and Reema, Kites Senior Care specialises in a range of geriatric services including post-operative and post-hospitalisation rehabilitative care, palliative care, dementia care, and respite care, both within care facilities and at the residences of senior citizens. Currently, the startup has a team of 400 care professionals, which is expected to grow to over 1,500. Further, the Bengaluru-based firm has plans to use the newly raised capital to augment its bed capacity to over 1,000 within the next six quarters, up from the current number of 340. Also, it aims to complete the pilot expansion of its tech platform โ€˜seniorshield,โ€™ leveraging wearable technology from Titan Fastrack. Besides Kites Senior Care, Samarth Life, Age Care Labs, Goodfellows, KareWise, SeniorWorld, GetSetUp, 60Plus India, ElderAid Wellness and GenWise also operate in the agetech space.
