Chrome privacy case: Google to purge billions of files containing personal data

Google has reached a settlement in a lawsuit accusing the company of illegal surveillance and has agreed to delete billions of records containing personal information collected from over 136 million people in the U.S. who used their Chrome web browser. This move is seen as a step towards protecting user privacy.

Who knows If they make a copy of data somewhere else and delete the og files. 😆. Well this is curious question by the way, after such settlements how does the process of alterting data or any digital asset Is done? From government who monitors the thing? From company who is responsible for altering assets?
