Cheerio AI raises Rs 8 Cr in seed round led by Artha Venture Fund AI-powered customer engagement platform Cheerio AI has raised Rs 8 crore in a seed funding round led by Artha Venture Fund through its Artha Venture Fund II. The round also saw participation from Hyderabad Angels, TiE Angels, LetsVenture, Invention Engine, and several angel investors. The proceeds will be used to build multi-modal AI capabilities, including a proprietary small-model LLM for ad generation, expand into voice and video channels, and strengthen automation features and enterprise-grade infrastructure. Cheerio AI also plans to hire across engineering, AI, enterprise sales, and customer success over the next six months as it prepares for global expansion. Founded by Nishant Das, Avinash, and Priam, Cheerio AI builds an AI-powered customer engagement platform designed to optimise the CAC-to-LTV equation for enterprises. The platform integrates marketing, support, and sales workflows across channels such as WhatsApp, email, SMS, social messaging, and in-app communication. The startup currently works with over 150 enterprise customers across six industries and claims to have generated more than Rs 500 crore in additional revenue for clients through retention automation. The company also reported revenue growth of 450% year-on-year over the past two years.

RevOps startup Clientell has raised $2.5 million in its seed round led by Blume Ventures. The round also saw participation from Chiratae Ventures, Artha Venture Fund and Silicon Valley-based Z5 Capital. Earlier to this round, the startup had raised $600,000 from Chiratae Ventures’ sonic cohort at the end of 2021, co-led by Artha Venture fund. The fresh proceeds will be used to strengthen its product and expand the team, the company said in a press release. Founded in 2021 by Saahil Dhaka and Neil Sarkar, Clientell helps businesses improve revenue generation efficiency by introducing AI copilots to boost their go-to-market (GTM) execution and optimize pipeline governance and forecasting. The Bengaluru-based startup deploys custom forecasting processes and ML models for each customer rather than using a one-size-fits-all approach. With its AI copilot, Clientell claims to have enabled its users, primarily chief revenue officers and Go-to-market leaders, to boost GTM execution and optimize pipeline governance and forecasting. Currently, the startup is working with initial design partners and early adopters spanning growth-stage SaaS companies and large pharmaceutical companies.

Terafac raises Rs 6.5 Cr in pre-seed round led by Inuka Capital Chandigarh-based AI-robotics startup Terafac has raised Rs 6.5 crore ($800K) in a pre-seed round led by Inuka Capital. Other investors include DEVC, Bharat Founders Fund, Innovation Mission Punjab, and select angels. The proceeds will be used for product innovation, market expansion, and hiring. Founded by Anubhi Khandelwal and Amrit Singh, Terafac has developed an AI-Vision platform that converts standard industrial robots into intelligent, self-adjusting machines. Its first product, WeldT, automates welding using computer vision to handle high product variations. The startup plans to expand its solution across tasks like gluing, painting, and inspection. Terafac operates on a "Software-as-a-Skill" model and targets 80 deployments across 20 customers in the next year. Its business model revolves around providing AI-based manufacturing automation tools to OEMs and factories, aiming to reach Rs 8 crore in ARR by FY26.
