The round also saw participation from Hyderabad Angels, TiE Angels, LetsVenture, Invention Engine, and several angel investors. The proceeds will be used to build multi-modal AI capabilities, including a proprietary small-model LLM for ad generation, expand into voice and video channels, and strengthen automation features and enterprise-grade infrastructure. Cheerio AI also plans to hire across engineering, AI, enterprise sales, and customer success over the next six months as it prepares for global expansion. Founded by Nishant Das, Avinash, and Priam, Cheerio AI builds an AI-powered customer engagement platform designed to optimise the CAC-to-LTV equation for enterprises. The platform integrates marketing, support, and sales workflows across channels such as WhatsApp, email, SMS, social messaging, and in-app communication. The startup currently works with over 150 enterprise customers across six industries and claims to have generated more than Rs 500 crore in additional revenue for clients through retention automation. The company also reported revenue growth of 450% year-on-year over the past two years.

Golden Sparrow Ventures, a venture capital fund investing in Indian-origin deep-tech and enterprise AI founders, has announced the first close of its $20 million Fund II. Over half of the fund has been committed, with more than 60% of Fund I’s limited partners re-investing. The fund will target 22 companies at the pre-seed and seed stages, with an average cheque size of $650,000. The portfolio allocation will be roughly split, with 50% focused on deep tech and 50% on enterprise AI. About 12% of the capital is reserved for follow-on investments in breakout companies. The fund is targeting 5x gross returns over a 10-year period. Golden Sparrow said it has already made its inaugural Fund II investment, backing a repeat founder building an enterprise data platform that cleans and structures legacy data for large organizations. The investment was made at the earliest institutional stage in the cross-border corridor. The VC firm added that its inaugural $8 million fund was fully deployed across 18 companies between 2023 and 2025 and has delivered top-decile performance. Portfolio companies include space-tech startup EtherealX, semiconductor startup Morphing Machines, MyoLab, Theranautilus, and GPU virtualization company Hosted AI. Founded in 2023 by Rishaad Currimjee, Golden Sparrow Ventures is a venture capital firm based in India. The firm prefers to invest in companies operating in AI and ML, deep tech and hard science, and SaaS and DevOps, among other sectors.

It is an AI-powered, all-in-one customer engagement and CLTV platform and claims to have been trusted by over 150 enterprises across 6 industries and has created more than 500 crore additional revenue for its customers through intelligent retention automation. The funding will be used to build multi-modal AI capabilities. Desible.ai, an enterprise-grade conversational infrastructure platform powering revenue, compliance, and service workflows across BFSI, has raised $250K in a funding round. The platform aims to build the next generation of AI-powered voice agents: intelligent, multilingual, and empathetic. Magicroll, an AI-powered video editing platform, has raised $100K. It specialises in transforming raw content into engaging short-format videos that keep the user's voice and story central while ensuring high contextualisation and personalisation. The company will deploy the funds toward go-to-market initiatives and continued product development. Invention Engine recently opened applications for its fourth ‘ACE $100K’ cohort, marking the expansion of its early-stage investment program in India. It has increased its investment ticket to $100K (approx Rs 1 crore) ‘patient capital’ per startup. The six-month program plans to back 6–8 early-stage startups working on core AI-led innovations.
