Fuck sprint planning/analysis. Doing quantitative analysis of work in story points estimates, while expecting ownership of grooming the feature, collaborating with respective stakeholders, but being answerable to only those things that are incomplete. You can never beat the system. Efficiency calculation can only be optimised even when completion status is 100%. The progress sounds like a distant reality when the sprint master focuses on criticising the tickets that are not groomed. Just as measuring an engineer's efficiency in hours put in is a stupid metric, so is distributing ownership and analysing it.

Let’s be real—measuring efficiency in story points or hours is just plain stupid. You can’t quantify creativity or problem-solving, but they’ll try anyway. It’s all about optics, not about actual progress. And no matter how much you optimize, they’ll always find something to nitpick

They throw around the word ‘ownership’ like it means something, but at the end of the day, you’re only held accountable for what didn’t get done. You could be killing it with collaboration and grooming, but if one ticket slips, that’s all they see. It’s a system designed to make you feel like you’re always behind.
