As a lazy person I will do things with motivation for two days or a week but ‘Atomic Habits’ taught me some strategies like habit bundling (where you should bundle a habit with another where the second one should be a rewarding One)this makes us do the first to get the reward then I started building many useful habits in life so I would suggest you to give it a try.
