India Accelerator launches vertical to spur innovation in robotics and space startups

India Accelerator has expanded its offerings with the launch of RUMS (Robotics, Unmanned & Space), a new vertical aimed at supporting startups in the robotic, unmanned aerial systems, and space industries. The accelerator plans to provide strategic assistance and funding of $10-15 million to early-stage startups with potential in these sectors. They have also appointed Lt Gen Anil Chait, an Indian Army veteran, as the chief advisor of the vertical. India Accelerator has previously invested $1 million in a deeptech startup in Bengaluru and has dedicated verticals focused on various sectors including energy, mobility, and sustainable development.
