IIMA Ventures launches accelerator for early stage investors

IIIMA Ventures (formerly IIMA-CIIE) has launched Venture Investing Accelerator to help first time and novice investors. It is a program which is designed to equip professionals with the skills, knowledge and experience required to excel as early-stage investors. According to IIMA Ventures, the program is ideal for aspiring and first-time early stage investors and individuals looking to understand and operationalize venture investing as an asset class through family offices, micro VCs or corporate venture offices. The accelerator will provide immersive education and intensive coaching, and will offer participants the chance to learn from and network with IIMA Professors, IIMA Ventures Partners, leaders in venture investing, and peers. The Venture Investing Accelerator includes a 3-day Bootcamp on the IIMA Campus, scheduled for August 8-10, 2024. Founded in 2002 as an entrepreneurship center at IIM Ahmedabad, IIMA Ventures is the innovation continuum that studies, educates, incubates, accelerates and invests in early stage startups, aspiring entrepreneurs and investors. It claims to have mentored over 7,000 founders, accelerated over 1700 startups, provided capital to over 700 companies, and released more than 400 publications. The platform has launched various funds such as climate fund – INFUSE Ventures, fintech – Bharat Inclusion Initiative, deep-tech funds – Bharat Fund, and others.
