I AM 17, SO MAYBE I AM MISSING SOMETHING. But I genuinely do not understand the hype around some startups. Take the recent wave of 10 minute services. Quick commerce for groceries makes sense, essentials delivered fast can actually help people. BUT NOW WE ARE SEEING 10 MINUTE HOUSE HELP SERVICES. And everyone is calling it innovation is it really or are we just turning basic human labour into another quick commerce category? INDIA has MASSIVE PROBLEMS waiting to be solved: HEALTHCARE ACCESS EDUCATION GAPS AGRICULTURE EFFICIENCY Yet a lot of ATTENTION and CAPITAL goes into making URBAN CONVENIENCE slightly faster. Maybe I am wrong but sometimes it feels like we celebrate speed of service more than depth of impact. Curious to hear from people more experienced than me: Are these the startups we should be building?
