Youtube has become much more difficult I know youtube was launched in 2005 and the creator plan was launched in 2007 In 2016 it was the best time for creating content on youtube because who started they are successful now In 2026 Youtube is very difficult because of these four reasons 1st the number of active channels have increased from 6 million active channels in 2015 to 115 million active channels in 2025 In 2015 the viewers on Youtube were 1 billion and now it is 2.5 billion if we divide in 2016 every channel can get 223 views and now it is 22 views like reduction is 90% in this decade In the home page of YouTube in 2016 we used to have nearly 8 to 16 long form videos on homepage now it has reduced to 3 long form videos and other space is for shorts Long form is getting less recommendation on home page Audience retention span had been destroyed thanks to shorts and reels
