Hey Medial fam! I’ve been obsessed with a huge gap in the Indian road ecosystem lately. We have FASTags for tolls and UPI for everything, but the way we handle car accidents and insurance claims is still... well, broken. I’m working on a project to fix this: The "Car IP" Digital Witness. The Problem: Insurance companies lose crores every year to fake, backdated, and "garage-staged" claims. Meanwhile, victims lose the "Golden Hour" because bystanders don't know who to alert without compromising their own privacy. The Fix (What I'm Building): I’m developing a Smart QR system that turns every vehicle into a verifiable digital token. ✅ Hard Expiry: The QR is "married" to your policy. If your insurance expires at midnight, the QR "dies" digitally at midnight. No more backdated scams. ✅ The "Truth" Camera: Our tech locks the phone camera. You can’t upload old photos from your gallery. It’s live, on-site evidence or nothing. ✅ Privacy-First SOS: Bystanders can alert the owner or call for help via a masked VOIP bridge. No phone numbers are shared, so there’s zero spam. The Vision: A multi-tenant platform where insurance companies can access a "Verified Evidence Vault" to settle claims in minutes, not weeks. I’m building this from scratch and would love to connect with: A Tech Co-founder who is a beast at React/Firebase and wants to scale this.
