Hi, I’m working on a story-driven game for blind and visually impaired players, and I need your advice. I want to add a small task where players find an object (like a key) and place it into a matching shape on a wall (for example: circle, square, triangle). Since the game is visually impaired friendly, I want to understand: 👉 How would you prefer to recognize different shapes by sound, voice hints, rhythm, or something else? Your feedback would really help me design this in the right way. Thank you for helping me learn 🙏

Different sound and vibration can help understand some stuff. Let's take example of minecraft. You can understand that a creeper exploded near you, or they're a lava pool nearby or you're getting hit by a skeleton just by listening to sounds. They also got different blocks like amethyst which produces some charming sound when you walk on it. So you can use such sounds to help visualise the environment. But it's difficult to separate different blocks or items using sound.. imk, best would be to just speak aloud the name of the item if you are near it (like in Hogwarts Legacy). And you would be able to collect it by pressing a button? which can be placed or used in the same way when you stand near the place where it's gonna be used.
