It’s how people decide what to buy. India now leads the world in GenAI-driven shopping: • 62% already use GenAI • 64% rely on AI for brand & product decisions This changes everything for marketers. People aren’t searching anymore. They’re asking. Which means the old playbook breaks here 👇 SEO alone is no longer enough. We’re moving from: SEO → AEO (Answer Engine Optimization) AI doesn’t rank pages. AI gives answers. If your content isn’t: – structured – comparison-ready – FAQ-driven – trustworthy You won’t exist inside AI responses — even if you rank #1 on Google. Another uncomfortable truth: 57% Indians say they’re open to new brands. But 84% still buy familiar ones. Inertia isn’t broken by ads or discounts. It’s broken by better answers.
