Stop building “AI wrappers.” Start building 𝗔𝗜-𝗡𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗱𝘂𝗰𝘁𝘀-systems where AI is the operating core, not a feature bolted on. Think of building 𝗙𝗶𝗻𝗦𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁, a next-gen personal finance assistant, compared to a classic budgeting app. To make FinSight real, you need four systems: 1. The Brain - The Model 𝗥𝗼𝗹𝗲: Understanding + reasoning • 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗱𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗮𝗽𝗽: “Show expenses over $200.” • 𝗙𝗶𝗻𝗦𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁: Understands intent like: “Help me cut my monthly spending without touching essentials, and keep my weekend lifestyle.” 2. The Memory - Vector DB + RAG 𝗥𝗼𝗹𝗲: Personal long-term context • 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗱𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗮𝗽𝗽: You re-enter categories, goals, preferences. • 𝗙𝗶𝗻𝗦𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁: Remembers you hate strict budgets, prefer automated nudges, and overspend on dining near payday. This becomes your 𝗽𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘇𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗺𝗼𝗮𝘁. 3. The Hands - Agents + Tools 𝗥𝗼𝗹𝗲: Taking action • 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗱𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗮𝗽𝗽: Shows charts and says “You spent $450 eating out.” • 𝗙𝗶𝗻𝗦𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁: Pulls bank data, runs savings scenarios, negotiates bills through APIs, and asks: “Want me to switch your Internet plan to save $18/month?” 4. The Face - Generative UI 𝗥𝗼𝗹𝗲: Adaptive, dynamic interface • 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗱𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗮𝗽𝗽: Same dashboards for everyone. • 𝗙𝗶𝗻𝗦𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁: Generates breakdowns, forecasts, personalized plans, comparison tables-on demand, inside the conversation. The Real Advantage It’s 𝗻𝗼𝘁 the Brain-models are becoming commodities. The edge comes from: • 𝗠𝗲𝗺𝗼𝗿𝘆: proprietary + behavioral data • 𝗙𝗮𝗰𝗲: an interface that changes shape based on user intent AI-Native beats AI-Wrapped. The builders who embrace that will own the next wave.
