Being a struggling solo founder myself, from my experience the biggest problem is no reply and no reason given for a no. Even when my idea has a massive potential, the biggest problem is no one replies with the "what" to do to make it investable. The early stages are the ones where the investors should have more trust in the idea rather than the numbers. The investors should be willing to set up 60 mins to understand the vision and mission of the founders. Sometime, a deck is not completely helpful.
