You can replace money. You can start from scratch. The only thing you can’t recover is the window that closed while you were overthinking. People delay decisions because they want "certainty." Ironically, the moment you feel safe is usually the moment the opportunity is gone. So here’s the rule I call The Regret Test: If the future version of me would hate missing this, I don’t wait. I move. Not recklessly. Not blindly. But decisively. Because I’d rather deal with the consequences of a bold choice than live with the quiet, lifelong irritation of knowing I hesitated when it mattered. Take the shot. Miss or make - you’ll survive both. But “not trying”? That one sticks with you. And it sticks forever.
