The Rajasthan Government has rolled out the 150 Unit Nishulk Bijli Yojana to promote solar energy and provide relief to common citizens. Under this plan, every household installing a 1.1 KW rooftop solar system will receive 150 units of free electricity each month. The total ₹50,000 subsidy (₹33,000 Central + ₹17,000 State) and ₹1,100 incentive make it one of the most beneficial energy schemes of 2025. The initiative will also include free smart meter installation by DISCOM.
