let me tell u a real example now there is a company which used to construct roads and bridges so once they gave a contract for that company to build a bridge and a road so they made that so perfect that now it's probably over 20+ years not even a single Crack on the bridge nor anything nor roads been damaged seeing this they literally stopped giving projects to that company and that was a only last bridge and road they built after that they didn't get any project and u know while getting that project they said if at all u guys get a single complaint or wear and tear of that bridge we will refund I the amount that type of best company it was but as I said contractors want to eat money so they stopped giving the project to that company and that bridge still stands like a new one with no wear and tear

The first hurdle is getting project itself their is just so much competition in this field some players even go below -20% - 25% and win contracts and on top of that paying the official 10% thats like 30% of your Project cost eaten up even before you begin oh and there is this 5% security deposit too thats 35% so for a 100 cr projects thats 35 cr !!! so why would not they use cheaper materials bribre official, changes in design to make profit.

it's true what u said because I know someone who told me that they usually show some quantity of good quality and after the officer is done with the inspection of the things they just replace the material with the low quality once and if not they just bribe the officer also with some money and the work is done
