I will suggest to please use your real name and real photo on LinkedIn to start with. I myself do not connect with anyone if it comes across as anything but genuine. You have to remember India is a low trust society and on top of that UI/UX is a crowded space with no clear definition of what the core strenth is. Try to work with some startups who can give you smaller projects and build up from there.
