🧠 Building Laryaa —... • 2d

From Weloom to Laryaa: Building What I Needed Most A few months ago, I started building Weloom — an AI-powered platform for the Ikat industry. It was born from my love for the craft and my first-hand observation of real challenges: 🧵 Declining skilled weavers and traditional craftsmanship 📉 Inefficient demand–supply visibility 🌐 Limited digital presence for artisans 🖥 Manual, time-consuming design translation The idea was simple — use AI and computer vision to digitize the weaving process and make complex design-to-graph conversion faster and easier for weavers. The response was validating. But the deeper I went, the clearer it became — to do justice to it, I’d need specialized AI/ML expertise, a bigger team, and a long runway. So, I made a tough decision: to pivot. Not away from technology — but toward a problem I’ve personally lived through. Before startups, I worked at a post office and later at a real estate office. That’s where I learned what “sales” really means — not scripts, not automation, but human connection, trust, and clarity. When I tried selling Weloom’s vision, I realized how hard it is to pitch the right story to the right person. That pain became the seed for my new startup — Laryaa. Laryaa is an AI Sales Co-Pilot that helps businesses move from persona → pitch → conversion in one click. If Weloom was about empowering artisans with AI, Laryaa is about empowering salespeople and founders with AI — including myself. 🧠 Lesson: Your first startup shows you the problem. Your second one teaches you how to sell it right. 🚀 Now building Laryaa in public — follow my journey.
