Settling Up in a Bond ( both male and female ) When I was younger, I was always told that as a girl, building and maintaining good connections should be my first priority. Because, they said, those connections give you peace, support, and a way to live. And if you go against that, you might end up facing loneliness, judgment, or that nagging sense that something’s missing. That fear often pushes many girls to “settle” — in relationships, in life, in situations that don’t truly serve them. But honestly, as a feminist, I’ve always asked — why only girls? Because let’s be real, men settle too. Between the ages of 20 to 30, even guys start trying to find stability. In small towns or villages, boys often rush to settle down because they’ve seen how hard life can be.
