Just saw this post on Medial, And Here are some of my thoughts about it.( No offense to the author of that post, What he is saying is right too, Startups Don't have that Traction from the first day. ) No, It's not the case Faster Launches don't win everytime. Apple always lauches features too late. Specially the hardware ones. But something seems very optimized in it's products. The build quality + User experience is great.(Altho it lack too many features that Android has.) It's still has a fanbase. Apple is like a silent oberver to my perspective. The company never tries to be the first one. Let's the compitition cook a new technology eg. AI. Works on finding mistakes and gaps. Silently keeps building and launches only when they think it's perfect.

For example: The AI boom started at 2020 but still Apple probably hasn't launched a AI in 2025. But it silently dropped a research paper about Thinking models and it's myth(I'll share the link in a comment.). It's a paper about the limits of how well a Thinking vs a Normal LLM model handles tasks with different complexities and presents a shocking Result that non-Thinking models work great for most of the user quesries; if I would have to summarize that paper and it's usefullness into a short line.

Apple products used to be very beautiful and special, but now that seems to be gone. It feels like Apple only focuses on making the battery better and adding small features. The exciting and new ideas aren’t there anymore.
