Anthropic raised $13 billion at a $183 billion valuation. India, on the other hand, has about 118 unicorns in total. Now Anthropic is setting up operations in India, their 2nd largest user base after the US. If even 3–4% of that capital finds its way here, that’s close to half a billion dollars flowing into India’s AI landscape. But sometimes, the numbers speak louder than conclusions.
