Over the last few weeks, I had the opportunity to intern at Value Health, where I dived deep into the world of Generative AI and semantic understanding for healthcare. From exploring contextual embeddings and knowledge graphs to optimizing retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) for medical data โ every day was a step closer to building AI that truly understands healthcare language. I worked on integrating semantic search pipelines with LLM-powered clinical assistants, enabling faster and context-aware insights for physicians and researchers. But beyond the code, this internship taught me something deeper โ โก๏ธ How data precision and semantic understanding can literally save lives. โก๏ธ How collaboration, iteration, and ethical AI practices shape real-world innovation.
