Spending time alone isn’t optional - it’s survival. Everyone throws around that line: “You’re the average of the five people you spend the most time with.” What they don’t talk about is how easy it is to lose yourself in that average. If you don’t know who you are without the noise, the influence, and the constant comparison - you’re not leading, you’re blending. That’s why you need to cut some people off without guilt. Not out of arrogance. But for the sake of clarity. And sometimes clarity is only possible in silence. Solo time isn’t isolation. It’s self-defense.

Success comes down to doing the obvious thing for an extraordinary period of time, without convincing yourself that you’re smarter than you think you are.
