𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗘𝘃𝗼𝗹𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗦𝗼𝗰𝗶𝗲𝘁𝘆 𝗚𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗸𝗲𝗲𝗽𝗲𝗿 Just saw our society manager calmly tapping on his phone to manage the morning rush of deliveries. It’s a far cry from the old days of scribbled registers and constant, frantic intercom calls. It’s wild to think how quickly this whole system changed. A few years ago, we adopted the MyGate app. The shift from manual to digital was instant. The chaos of delivery execs at the gate vanished, and approving visitors became a simple one-tap affair. Features like the digital intercom and entry logs completely streamlined the workflow. For our society manager, it was a game-changer, freeing him from endless paperwork. It's easy to see why the society management would invest in these platforms; they get a complete, real-time dashboard of all operations. Then, just as we got used to it, we switched over to NoBrokerHood. That move really highlighted how competitive this space has become, with both apps vying to be the central nervous system of a residential community. And it's not just about security anymore. These platforms have evolved way beyond gate management. What started with digital visitor logs and bill payments has now expanded into full-blown community marketplaces. I can see neighbours listing furniture for sale or offering services right inside the app. Lately, they’ve integrated daily handyman services, packers, and movers. It's an interesting strategy, placing them in indirect competition with specialists like Urban Company and Snabbit. They are building a one-stop-shop for all home-related needs. It’s a fascinating transformation of what a "society app" even means. From a simple security tool to an all-encompassing community platform, they're embedding themselves deeper into our daily urban lives, making everything feel much more integrated. Has your society app also evolved like this? What's the most useful feature for you? 👇

Just boarding a flight to Bengaluru. From the gate to the plane, used a bus, for literally 20 straight steps. Why so? Why not make a safe corridor to the plane, from the gate, to go on foot? Wouldn't it be cost effective for plane companies; better
