🚀 Just published my first nostalgic long-form article on Medium! Back in 2008, I built my first forum with a small group of friends. From Yahoo Chat Rooms to IRC, bulletin boards, and eventually a 100k+ member community… I’ve lived through the rise (and fall) of online forums. Today, social media dominates. But are forums truly dead, or have they simply evolved into new shapes like Discord, Reddit, and niche communities?
