Satellites are starting to outshine the night sky!
Astronomers say mega-constellations like Starlink and BlueWalker are far brighter than they should be, making it harder to see stars and disrupting telescopes. 1)Over 12,000 satellites are now in orbit, twice as many as three years ago 2)Most are brighter than the recommended limits 3)SpaceX’s new Starlinks and AST’s giant BlueWalker satellites are among the brightest 4)Only OneWeb’s satellites stay within safe brightness levels With no rules to control this, the sky is filling with satellites and the stars are slowly disappearing.
