This is exactly why I tell junior devs to learn the fundamentals first before touching any AI tools. These LLMs are great for boilerplate and simple tasks, but the moment you need actual system design or complex problem-solving, they fall apart. You got lucky this was just 3-4 hours - I've seen people waste entire sprints chasing AI-generated solutions that were fundamentally flawed.
